What is Pickleball and why you should try it?
Pickleball started in Washington State in the mid 1960’s and was a west coast sport for many years. Today, it is played in every state and is the fastest growing sport in America. Pickleball is played on a badminton-sized court (⅓ the size of a tennis court) with smooth paddles and a special whiffle-type plastic ball. Most Pickleball is played as doubles and the game has a friendly-social nature that can also be a fast-paced competitive sport. The sport is low-impact and is played by people of all ages.
Rick Johnson, USAPA Certified Pickleball Instructor, is available for beginner and intermediate Pickleball coaching. More details are available on the BridgeMill Facebook Pickleball Group Page or contact Rick at (770) 855-7551 or rjohnson0509@gmail.com.
