Specialty Fitness Classes at Bridgemill Athletic Club

B-FIT TRAINING

We have diligently put our time and effort into planning the best fitness training programs for every member no matter what level of fitness. Each class is led by a certified instructor or personal trainer and is specifically crafted to strengthen, tone, shape, release and relax all the major muscle groups. We’ve designed the programs to fit your unique schedule providing both day and evening options to ensure you have several classes per week to attend. Join a community of members who will energize and motivate you to sweat and move to better strength, endurance, mobility and more.

B-FIT GROUP FITNESS CLASSES

Whether you are new to fitness, a fitness junkie or the young at heart we have a class for you.

Group fitness classes are included in your membership. They are subject to change, so please confirm schedule by checking the online calendar or the Monthly Newsletter.

NEW!! BODY BY DESIGN: Monday 9:15am l Tuesday 6:30pm

If you’re looking to create lean, strong arms and abs, toned, shapely backs, booties and thighs this low impact complete body workout is for you. We’ll use a variety of exercises and tools to challenge the glutes, quads, hamstrings, arms, abs and back to design a totally toned and shapely body. All fitness levels welcome.

LABLAST:  Monday I Friday 10:30am

LaBlast is a ballroom dance inspired dance fitness program created by Louis Van Amstel – former Dancing with the Stars pro and world champion. It is partner-free and accessible for all levels of participants. You can be a seasoned ballroom dancer or an absolute newbie.

NEW!! Greatest HIITS Whiteboard Workout: Tuesday I Thursday 9:15am This 30 -minute interval class

is designed for those who are self-motivated and love to HIIT. Bring a friend, hook up your favorite music and have fun. Every Tuesday and Thursday we will post a white board on the stage in the aerobic room with a HIIT style workout that includes the interval times and exercises to be performed.

FUNCTIONAL FITNESS:  Tuesday 10:30am

This class will train your muscles to work together to prepare the body for daily tasks, and real-life activities by simulating common movement patterns of daily living like squatting, reaching, pulling and lifting. Participants will see and feel improvement in strength, balance/coordination, power, range of motion, and mobility. All fitness levels are welcome.

CIRCUIT TRAINING:  Tuesday 12:00pm

This 30- minute full body workout is performed in a circuit format that moves from one exercise to the next. It is designed for all fitness levels to tone muscles and increase metabolic function for more calories burned throughout the day.

INTRO TO FITNESS:  2nd Tuesday of every month 7pm

This once- a- month class is for those new to exercise or need a little nudge in the right direction. The class is led by a certified personal trainer and focuses on teaching proper use of the cardio and weight equipment. You will be guided on how to get started working out and given options that are available to help you reach your health and fitness goals.

NEW!! MIX IT UP: Wednesday 9:15 am:

We’re going to mix it up in this class. You’ll get a full body workout that includes cardio and strength exercises using weights, medicine balls, the TRX and battle ropes in circuit training class format. All fitness levels welcome.

BARRE/PILATES FUSION:  Wednesday 10:30am

This full body conditioning class combines the fundamental principles of both Barre and Pilates. Each class will work to balance all muscle groups’ strength and flexibility, with an emphasis on sculpting long, lean muscles while challenging the core with each movement. This low impact class is great for all ages and fitness levels.

YOGA:  Wednesday 6:30pm

This class will consist of a thorough warm-up followed by sequences and postures that build heat and strength in the body then will close with cooling and calming postures to leave you feeling balanced and renewed. All ages and abilities welcome.

NEW!! Release and Recover: Fridays 9:15am

Take some active recovery time after your hard work throughout the week. Classes will begin with a spinal warm up, proceed to general heat building and finish with deep stretches of every major muscle group. A great way to round out your workout and maintain mobility. All fitness levels welcome.
